I can't believe this product actually works, but my husband has stopped snoring when he uses this pillow. The only problem is when he grabs a different pillow! It is not particularly attractive, and he says it's not that comfortable, but he has gotten used to it. It would be nice if there were more pillow case offerings. Given its purpose, it's a really unbelievable product, and well worth the money.

While using the product correctly, it does work as advertised, but as you sleep you tend to roll off and use it just like a normal pillow. It doesn't really decrease snoring unless you are able to remain in its recommended position.

I bought the pillow for my husband's snoring and sleep deprivation. I sleep through it all, anyway, so I don't know for sure how well it's working. He also travels quite a bit and can not take it with him. However, he starts out at night using it, then in the morning the new pillow is on the floor and he's using his old one.

I have been a snorer for years. At the time Dr. Zuberi was designing pillow I was a drug rep calling on him. He told me about it and how it could help me. I could not wait until it reached market yet when it did being busy I waited months to get one. Opting instead for my wife to wear ear plugs. Well the ear plugs are gone now and i have a ton more energy because I am sleeping better with my mild sleep apneia. i had no idea how much snoring and disrupting my sleep was affecting me. Thank you Dr. Zuberi and Brookstone.

My wife encouraged the purchase of the Sona Pillow and it worked great for the first three nights - then I learned how to snore with it. HOWEVER, I am not snoring as much nor as loud as I was before I got the pillow.
The pillow is very comfortable and seems to be well suited for persons, such as myself, that sleep on their side with an arm up under it.

First Sona pillow worked great for about a year. Hubby underwent many expensive tests. Next step is sleep study and on to a mask. UGh. BUT, got hubby to buy a new Sona AND now no snoring!!!!!! Pillows wear out, that's a given. The Sona is pricey but cheaper than the medical alternatives!!!! As a mate of a snorer, I will buy hubby the Sona annually because I like sleeping.

I purchased this pillow in a last-ditch effort to remain sleeping in the same room with my husband. His snoring was so bad that I could not get a restful night's sleep. The arrival of his Sona pillow brought an immediate solution. From night one, I had a full-night's sleep. His snoring stopped! Only a few nights when he has fallen asleep on his back on the pillow has he snored at all, and then that is corrected by properly positioning himself on the pillow. We both are waking up more rested and refreshed.

I bought this pillow for my mom and was very unsure about whether it actually WORKED. She has told me that she is waking up with neck pains, and that her snoring hasn't lessened any... but I think she may have been using it wrong because I could instantly feel a difference when I laid on the pillow. I could feel how it works - it opened up my airway and I could breathe easier than I can standing up! It was EXTREMELY comfortable... but, on the other hand - my mom said it was not. I guess every one has a different opinion, but my view of this is that it is GREAT!

I bought this product for my wife who started snoring a year ago. It does help with the snoring and has greatly reduced it. She says it is very uncomfortable and awakes with neck/shoulder aches. She is used to sleeping on a flat feather pillow so this pillow is over stuffed and much higher than her other pillow. It is great it comes with a pillow case as the contour would not fit a regular one. The eye mask is a plus for me too. She has no prblems falling asleep but i need the eye mask.

My wife monitors my snoring. She reports that it is improved by about 50-70%. I am fairly sure that I snore for multiple reasons including this one. Allergy is another... and so taking Benedril or whatever helps further. I am fairly convinced that this was a 1st order cause with perhaps 2 other additive causes thrown in... no wonder this is so hard to beat. However, it at least partially convinced me that surgery on my throat was not going to address the issue.

Finally, I often find myself cheating with this product (not on purpose) by lying on my back in the middle of the pillow. I usually get a good kick for that !

After reading several reviews of this product I bought it. I snore regularly, but don't have apnea. After years of light sleep, or waking myself up with my own snoring, and trying a variety of throat sprays, not much worked. When I first tried the pillow, it was hard for me to get used to, because I normally slept on my back (the reason why I snored in the first place). But after a while I got used to it and got a really good night's sleep within a week. After over a month, it feels normal, and I'm sleeping like I haven't in years. My wife is happier, now that she doesn't have to "prod" me to roll over.

Best Pillow Ever, Snoring is gone!
By MojoVerified Purchaser from Chicago, IL on 4/14/2008
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this pillow after seeing the advertisements and reading the reviews on here. I used to use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, but after a recent sleep study, my neurologist told me that it was so mild I no longer needed the machine. This was great news, however, my husband has been losing sleep due to my snoring for a number of years. I have been told that I snore very loud and all night long.

As others have said, there is a break-in period for this pillow. It was a bit uncomfortable the first few nights but my husband and I were both amazed when I woke up that first morning and he said I didn't snore at all.

The one thing I dislike about it is that my arms fall asleep depending on which arm goes under the pillow. It usually wakes me up and I will just switch to the other side. However, this is a small price to pay for a night of restful sleep. I have felt more refreshed in the mornings since I started using it. It is a bit pricey for a pillow but it is well worth it.

I'm 6 months pregnant and have come to the stage where I am no longer sleeping comfortably. As a result, I was having a very difficult time falling back to sleep once awakened because of my husbands snoring. In 4 years, this had never been an issue - I was able to sleep right through it. Many nights, I just chose to sleep on the couch. In a desperate attempt for some good sleep, I purchased this for my husband and the first night, slept wonderfully! Low and behold, the second night of sleep was even better. He says he is sleeping well, too, so we are both happy campers. The snoring has been cut down to almost nothing!! My husband says this pillow saved our marriage!!

A little wider than what I would consider comfortable. Helps put me in a position to sleep better, but could probably be accomplished with other pillows. For me, pillow is too thick and causes neck issues the next morning.

I ordered this pillow for my husband. We had a difficult time finding a pillow for him that would be comfortable when he slept on his side and would help with his snoring. He has been using the pillow for a month and we are both finally getting a good nights sleep. His snoring is much better.

Too Firm for Me

I purchased this pillow because when I go to visit my daughter I am painfully aware that my snoring can be heard by everyone. I think this is a great idea and design, and like that it comes with a plastic case that I can take with me when I travel, but I really wish that the pillow was not as firm, it is very hard for me to find a comfortable sleep position because of it being so hard.

We bought this for my husband. After 25+ years of marriage, his snoring is not a problem FOR ME. The alignment of his head, nose and throat with this pillow eliminates almost all snoring whiles he sleeps. This is the nicest gift he has given me, and I love the pillow and I love my husband for buying it..

Comfortable once you get used to it.

For it to work right you do have to sleep with your arm under the pillow and somewhat more above the head than I am used to. As long as you stay in that position it seems to help with snoring too. But I toss in the night and when I try to roll over on my back the pillow wakes me up--but then, that is the point of the whole thing I think. It is designed so that your head turns to the side. It is comfortable once you get used to it but it takes a few nights to get used to.

The pillow required shaping before use. It takes a long time to get used to sleeping in this position. Sleeping with your arm outstretched upward takes up space, King bed suggested.

It works!
By shopgirlVerified Reviewer from CT on 4/4/2008
Pros:
Fluffy, Reduced snoring
Cons:
A bit large for full bed, A little getting use to, Needs to be broken in, Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
Sleeping
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I'm not a loud snorer but my partner is a light sleeper. Not the most comfortable pillow. But it works if you stay on it. Sometimes I find myself tossing it aside. It is a little large for a full or queen size bed because you only sleep on half of the pillow and the other half takes up space between you or on the nightstand.
