I would say the albums are exactly what the website says they are. The came with black metal frames and I wanted brown so I just spray painted them and it worked out perfectly! The frames are simple...but that is what the site says of them. If they were too busy it is also likely they would distract the viewer from the album. Anyway, I think most anyone who orders these will be happy :)

Practical and stylish method of displaying four of our favorite albums. I appreciate that -- due to the double-sided clear plexi covers -- you can remove the frame from the wall and view the back-side of the album cover without having to remove it from the frame. I'm not sure how the thin plexi covers will hold up against scratches or how the single-holed hanger will withstand a long time on the wall. Time will tell.

We ordered a 4 pack of these to give my husband's 1000+ album collection a job other than collecting dust. Great concept and looks great on the walls. We will order more for our den as soon as it is finished. I wish the frames came in other colors besides just black but I can probably solve that problem myself with a can of spray paint.

If there was a choice, I would've picked metal frames and glass cover instead of plastic and plexy glass. Despite that, I am pleased with the product and got what I expected. What an easy art idea for a room! And it has your own personality!

would prefer glass instead of plastic, but a nice feature is that there is plastic on both sides of the frame so if one side gets scratched, there is another piece of plastic you can use.
