I ordered two bath towels just to try them out and see if they are really as soft and absorbent as indicated. As soon as I felt them out of the package I was impressed but when I started using them I was sold and quickly placed and order to supply the house in time for house guest coming in town. Love the soft, absorbent feel of these towels and washcloths. Wish they had more colors and also a matching bath mat. I would prefer to have washing instructions in words rather than symbols i.e Machine wash warm, tumble dry medium.

These are fairly nice bamboo towels. The sandstone color is a good neutral color, but with the rayon sheen, it is not boring. Goes with a lot of color schemes. When we first received them, I was a bit doubtful, but washed them as recommended and they did plump up a good bit and became more absorbent. I own two other bamboo towel sets of which one is more absorbent, thick, plush, and the other is less so. I'd call this a good middle grade set. I am satisfied, for the price I paid (used an online coupon).

Although I am very happy with this towel overall, I was disappointed that several threads (in one spot) pulled during the first wash. I have a front loading machine and have no problems generally, so I am sure it was a flaw in the fabric and not my machine. It makes me wonder how the towel will hold up over time. Especially given that it is not an inexpensive towel.

Be sure to wash it first to maximize it's absorbency. It seems to get even better and softer each time I use it. I really like this towel! And there is no smell at all from use to use, not like some towels that can get smelly just after a couple showers. Plus it dries nicely.

These washcloths definitely eliminate the bad smells due to bacteria collecting on the cloth. They feel great on your face. However, they are much smaller than any other washcloth I have ever used. I'd rather have paid an extra buck and received a standard-sized cloth.

I started with the basics - wash cloth, hand towel and bath towel for one. I am adding to that because this product was great - so soft you just want to cuddle it and dries you faster than a regular towel. Helps make soap last longer so you don't need as much. I plan to get more towels, the bath mat & the robe. I also priced this before buying and got the best value at Brookstone.

This is the third towel that I have bought. Watch out for using this with Proactive. It will bleach the towels. Everyone raves about this towel who uses it.

I am extremely pleased with the bamboo towels. I was skeptical, but because I had a coupon, I figured I had nothing to lose.
I was expecting something that felt less like cotton and more like wool. Really for me, the antimicrobial properties were what interested me most, so I was willing to sacrifice a little softness for the sake of hygene.
Well, there was no compromise, or sacrifice involved. I could not believe how soft the towels were. They are highly absorbent, soft and just an all around excellent product. They are everything that I hoped for and more.
We will be slowly replacing our old towels with the new ones.

Easiest way to go Green today. Bamboo always stays fresh. You will no longer have to deal with the smell of mildew in your towels. No P-U when you use Bamboo! The material is just as soft and absorbent as cotton. I am replacing all towel sets in my house. The only drawback is remembering to pull the towels to wash--you can no longer do the smell test!

This is one of the best towels I have ever used to dry off with! You can take two or three towels a day and every time your towel is perfectly dry. After about 6 months of use it never smells like mold and every time it smells brand new!!

We use these towels in everyday use for our family. With two teenage children, showers happen frequently. These towels are very absorbent and may be used 2-4 times before developing the typical soured smell of pure cotton towels. They also dry faster than the typical cotton towels. As we're able, we plan to replace our towels with these.

Great product! We are replacing all of our standard cotton wash cloths and towels with the bamboo/yarn products. While the feel and performance of the products is great, we especially like the antibacterial properties. Our bathroom is a closed environment, subject to mold, mildew and other health risk undesirables. We have an aggressive "clean room" regimen to keep the bathroom as clean as we can. The bamboo/yarn products are now part of our preventive maintenance procedure to keep our bathroom area as free of contaminants as we can.

I use these towels in all my bathrooms. They are the best bamboo towels I've found (even better than the so called "best rated" ones). They are better than any all cotton towel I've ever used. These have more bamboo so they are softer and more absorbent. They have enough cotton so they keep their shape very well. Overall they appear lighter or not as fluffy as other towels, but they do a great job at drying and are very soft. I have recommended these towels to my whole family.

I'm not sure these towels are particularly super absorbent, like some reviewers said. However, I do like these towels very much. They feel satiny. I have washed & dried them several times by now, and they have not shrunk or "buckled." Before buying these from Brookstone, I read a review about other bamboo towels from another retailer that shrunk. I checked those out & they were a bit cheaper, but I didn't mind spending more money if they were not going to shrink.

Love these towels they are very soft and absorbent. When you launder, wash only in cold and use no fabric softner and they come out great. I also have sheets made out of bamboo, they are so soft and wrinkle free. I think bamboo is the way to go.

The first thing I noticed when I opened these towels is how soft they were. The colors look true to what was shown, I have blossom, rain and viola. They are absorbent. Quality is good, the corners match evenly when they are folded, edges are true and square. They wash and dry nicely. I love them.

I like the softness and look of the bamboo towels. Bamboo is supposed to be anti-bacterial, but I found that the washcloth ends up smelling just like my regular towels if they aren't bleached periodically. I hate to use bleach, so I was hoping the bamboo would be different.

I shopped around for bamboo towels for some time before deciding to try these in our master bathroom. These towels are incredibly soft and absorbant. After trying these towels, my old cotton towels have been retired to other household duties, as they feel like sandpaper compared to these bamboo towels. While the bath sheets shrank a bit, they are still generously sized. I plan to buy more for myself and for gifts.

These towels are great! I bought one because I needed a fast-drying towel for my workouts. This towels dries fast after absorbing nearly all the water after my showers. I can pack it away knowing it won't develop a mildew smell after a short drive home. I was a little hesitant about spending the amount on a single towel but it has been well worth the money because of the quality!

The only reason we gave these towels 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the price. These towels are exceptionally soft. Unlike other towels that get a moldy or dirty smell the antibacterial bamboo these towels are made of works great. Highly recommend. We will buy more despite the price.

I love the towel! It is incredibly soft as well as being incredibly absorbent! My only complaint is that I think it shrunk a little. It still is big, but I would have liked it bigger. I would recommend this towl to everyone.
