I really don't find anything objectionable about the prelit trees I bought. I placed one on either side of our front door and plugged them into an extension cord and timer, and they come on automatically when it gets dark and go off in the morning. They are very attractive, and the white wooden box they come in is high quality too.

Thought this was a beautiful outdoor decoration. Nowhere online or in catalog does it state to be used indoors or on covered porch only. Found this out the hard way after rain and the wooden planters completely fell apart. A shame because I really liked them, but had to send them back.
