This product worked as advertised. The included DVD was an added bonus, because it showed us how to use the tool by hand. Although we had intended to use it with our drill, it was not big enough. So we tried the whole process by hand, and it worked great. Our dryer vent is only 5 years old, so it wasn't too dusty. Not sure how cleaning by hand would work on a vent that had many more years of lint build-up.

I honestly did not expect this to work, but it sure did! I had to buy an extra set of these to get through 20 feet of ductwork and it dug out about 10 pound of fire-hazard lint that I didn't even know was there. Of course, the dryer is now working 100% better.

I found that this product worked as well or better than expected.Cleaned my vent clean as a whistle.I had about a twenty foot run and with a ninty degree elbow,with the extension kit I had no trouble at all.Just make sure you get everything good and tight.

Worked well but the head came-off in my dryer vent line which runs under my house slab foundation. It was very difficult to retrieve. I'd recommend glueing it to the section and applying extra tape to the other sections to keep them from seperating.

My dryer vent exits through the roof. I had to have the extentions to clean the entire length of the dryer vent. The sections thread together so You clean, then add a section then clean again until entire vent is clean. Very easy.

Cleaner works very well. Just follow the simple instructions, and clean away. My dryer cycles are cut by 1/3 after using this product. Great energy saver!

Adding the extension to the dryer vent kit will ensure that you can reach all the way through your vent line and also allow you to use this for cleaning clogged gutters or outdoor drain lines.

I ordered these at the same time as the dryer vent cleaning kit. These are more of the same rods that come in the dryer vent kit. I ended up not needing these extension pieces after all but I didn't return them. I thought they might be good replacments for the original kit pieces if they broke in the future and the product is discontinued.
