I am a knitter that works with wools and stuff that pills all the time. I tried it out on my wool purse in the store and had to have it. Got it home last night and cleans off a patch of a wool coat that was starting to look terrible and it worked really well! Kind of noisy though.

We have two throw blankets that could not be put on display because of the lint. Somebody had a tissue in the washing machine...I'm not going to point fingers here, mostly because it was me. Anyway, my wife and I saw this in the store and figured we'd take a [$]gamble. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I ran it for more than an hour straight on two C batteries and there was no hint of slowing down. It's going to take some work on your part -- basically you have to iron the item to remove the lint -- but it works. About the only knock is a small containment area for the collected lint, so you'll probably have to empty it several times on a big job. Very good product.

I love my fabric shaver. Its the best one I have ever bought. Unfortunately, it stopped working suddenly. I wasn't even shaving something, I just turned it on before using it and before I could put it on the fabric it stopped and never restarted. The batteries are new so I don't know why that happened.

I love this product but I tried "revitalizing" one of my favorite jackets and maybe because it had so many lint balls and such, it took me 3 tries for it to visibly make a difference.

I purchased this shaver to remove the pills that form on my sweaters. I have used the smaller fabric shavers, but they take so long and the quality is sub-par. This fabric shaver did exactly what I wanted, and exceeded my expectations. Be aware of the pressure that you are using, because I can see that if one pressed too hard, it may snag or even cut the yarn on the sweater. I, however, had no issues. I love it!

I love this fabric shaver. It cuts down on the time shaving a sweater. My old shaver was small and took 20 minutes because I had to keep emptying it. I can shave a sweater in just a couple of minutes. The only thing I wished this had was an option for an AC cord.

Removes sweater fuzz to make it look new. It takes a while to go over an entire sweater, but it is worth it.

I bought this product because my two angora wool sweaters were placed in the washer and were pretty much ruined. The sweaters had tons of the fabric that was clumped togehter. The product completely restored the sweater. However, the product seemed to get clogged up and jammed easily, but that could of been from the amount of material the product was trying to pick up off of the sweater.

Bought this to "save" a favorite winter-white woven wool jacket that would pill terribly at almost every wearing, and it did an excellent job in removing all the pills - but it took a very long time and several passes. Have not used it on a "regular" sweater yet, but think it will probably be faster on regular knitted sweater pills. Did a lot of online research before purchasing this one, and it did seem to be the best of the lot from what others said.

I have bought several sweater shavers over the years and have always been dissapointed in their performance. This sweater shaver works absolutely wonderful. I liked it so well i bought more for gifts for my daughters and friends.

The product is great because you can remove the pills on clothing very quickly. It also allows the clothes to look much newer by removing some dirt or loose thread. I have used it many times and it works great. Sometimes, the cap on the battery compartment gets a little loose, but you just have to put it back on again. It does not remove pet hair from clothes, but it was not intended to. It works much better than your lint brush and will be a great investment. You can bring it anywhere because it is very lightweight. I have dropped it a few times and it still works perfect so it is very durable.

The larger size of this fabric shaver makes it versatile. i have used it on blankets and clothing. It's a great product!

I gave my wife a sweater shaver for Christmas this year, as a secondary gift, and she absolutely loves it. She's already pulled all her sweaters out of the closet and given them a shaving. Now she's wearing sweaters that I haven't seen on her in years. At first it was a little difficult to set the shaver to the appropriate length, but after some practice she has it down to a science. She's even used it on our sofa. Overall she loved this product, the only problem is that now she wants to buy more sweaters to shave.

This works great on all my clothes. I was going to take everything to the dry cleaners, but instead I was able to wash and use this shaver. Everything turned out great.

FABULOUS
I have owned mine for over 3 years and it has just died! I have enjoied owning this and will order a new one. I have never used a shaver that works better. I just hope my new one comes soon. I need to clean up some sweaters.
I don't have this particular model, but I bought mine over 10 years ago....it looks a little different, but it runs great. Still removes fuzzies quickly and clothes look great again. I'm going to buy this as gifts!
This works great on sweaters. Removes pills and revitalizes the sweater to look brand new again. Highly recommend. I've had it for about 4-5 years now and just purchased it as a gift for a friend.
I loved this prodcut when i first got it, then it stopped working after a few months. Problem was the blades would stop spinning from too much pressure. After several stops, it just gave up. Now I need another, which I'll gladly buy, since it works so well. Just remember to use very little pressure.

its a slow process to remove pills from sweaters, and it eats batteries quickly, but the results are amazing
I've owned this sweater shaver for at least 3 years and it still works great. Transformed all of my old, pilly sweaters to brand new again! A must for any sweater lover. At only [$]I'm going to get another one in case the blades ever wear out (they haven't yet) .

The fabric shaver has made my couch and pillows look brand new again. I used the shaver to take off the "fabric balls" and it was very fast and effective!
