Ii's a nice thing to have as it saves some room and secures the board from calapsing when stored. It's useful especially when you have small kids who like to explore and pull :)

This is a great product to store the ironing board and iron. The iron holder is large and metal so you can put a hot iron away on it. It would be better if the holder wasn't so large so that the storage unit was a little lower.
