I run all winter and love to run the wooded trails, but suffered from freezing toes after the snow starts falling.(ouch!) I was willing to give these a try before giving up and resorting to running on the road the rest of the winter (boring and still cold toes anyway). They might not make my feet toasty, but they prevent frostbite! A couple of hints: trim them to size and take out the original insole in your shoes to avoid tight shoes. Also, they turn off and on according to the temperature, I thought they weren't working when I tested them inside. I can now run in comfort all winter!!! (even in Iowa).

The insoles unfortunately don't really warm feet. They are hard to get in and out of shoe or boot, which will really shorten the lifespan. Husband doesn't use them, but LOVES the jacket.

These rechargeable heated insoles can handle ALL your activities, from walking the dog to an extended ski trip. And they’re so easy to use, there’s no obstacle to using them all winter long. Just charge them, then unplug and use like regular insoles. They make traditional heated insoles (with battery packs and cords) completely obsolete
