Was caught in a heavy rain and would not easily rotate afterward. After applying a silicone based lubricant it will usually rotate but still will not rotate in a light wind. Also had to add large washers to hold the flag to the pole due to the size of my flag grommets.

This pole is extremely easy to set up and use. It is more durable that cheaper flagpoles, and seems to be made of much more durable materials. It really does keep the flag from tangling, and keeps it waving freely. I was surprised at how this product has performed better than any other pole I have purchased over 30+ years.

Time and money was wasted because I called Brookstone after receiving my package and couldn't find the screws .. it wasn't until Brookstone sent me another flag pole that I realized the screws were indeed sent the first time but packaged in such a way I didn't find them. I wanted a flag pole that would keep the flag from tangling in a wind. This is a very creative design that works well. I thought I could assemble the pole and flag without reading the directions and first put the top clip through the flag's top grommet. DON'T DO THIS (as the written instructions also state). The two plastic rings that come with the pole have screws that go through the two grommets on the flag.

This flag pole works. I have gone through 3 flag poles so far but I think that this one is a keeper. I live in a windy area and always had issues with my flag wrapping around the pole. It's been two weeks now and not once did it wrap around the pole. The only question is how long it will last. It does not seem to be very sturdy.

This is the third so-called tangle free flag pole we have purchased. (other 2 from other Companys) This is the only one that works. Would like it if the flag atachment hardware was better quality. Will see how it lasts,only had it up for 2 weeks. Instructions say to take it down when windy, living on the Oregon coast there would be very few days we could fly it. At 45° the flag will still hang up on the pole when the wind gusts mildly.
In winter weather the mounting tube fills with ice and snow and freezes at night. When this happens it has to be removed and brought inside to thaw out. This is a pain in the cold.

sometimes the flag wraps around the pole, but it is easy to unfurl. i love the quality and workmanship. i have the best looking flagpole on my street!

I like the idea of the tangle free flagpole but at least once a day, I have to go out and unwrap the flag. I finally put some fishing weights on it to keep that from happening but it still does get wrapped around the pole at times.
I would buy product again!

Brookstone makes this hard to find item easy. Anyone with a flag outside really needs to have this pole. I no longer have an extra chore!
